“Utilizing tribe leaders is key for effective social media marketing in 2010, and it’s important to remember that tribe leaders are often just normal people who represent the values of their tribe members. Ford got a lot of things right with its Fiesta campaign, which involved approaching 100 social media moguls, giving them a Fiesta and an assortment of “missions.” The content wasn’t always that compelling, but the idea was on the right track. Some of the most innovative campaigns of 2010 will be rooted in this principle. “
